Watercolor Study 1: Playing In Color

1:18:00 AM

"I wonder if I've been changed in the night. Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!"

Inspired by Paul Klee and Chinese water color.

I'm taking water color this year. Why? Because I love it, and I think that if I can learn to use what I love well, then I can use it to express and communicate. So, if all else fails maybe I can get a job as a botanical illustrator.

The class is so subjective to everyone that it's hard to tell if I'm actually doing what I'm supposed to be doing. So, until someone straight up tells me I'm wrong, I'll keep doing what I want ;P

Process...

Black and white water color, Chinese inspired.
